Masters of Materials

Every day is a new artistic adventure! Campers will work with different materials as they discover the ways artists use a variety of media to craft works of art using clay, glass, metal and more!

Dates: June 17th - June 20th
Hours: 10am-1pm
Ages: 7-11

Arts and Crafts Animals

Explore the many different animals who call MAACM home! Design and create your own animal decor inspired by the American Arts and Crafts movement!
 

Dates: June 24th - June 27th
Hours: 10am-1pm
Ages: 7-11

Design Like an Artist!

Have fun learning new skills and techniques that artists use when working with different mediums and tools to apply their craftsmanship!

 

Dates: July 15th - July 18th
Hours: 10am-1pm
Ages: 7-11
Cost: $150/$140 for members

Things to know

  • Camps are held in MAACM’s Education studio.
  • Camps are led by a professional art educator assisted by volunteers.
  • Fees include all materials and a summer camp t-shirt.
  • Full payment is required to reserve your child’s spot.
  • Some financial assistance may be available. Click here for more information.
  • Space is limited; register early!
  • Camps have one instructor and two assistants. The maximum capacity for art camp is 15 campers.
  • You may choose to register your child for multiple camps.
  • Daily Drop-off & Pick-up: Parents/guardians will enter through MAACM’s front entrance on each camp day to drop-off and pick-up their child. Check in/out station will be located on the 1st floor in the atrium. Please bring a photo ID.
  • Campers should dress comfortably in clothing that can get artsy, some materials will not wash out of clothing. We recommend that campers bring a sweater as the museum is chilly.
  • We do not offer before or after care.
  • Snacks will not be provided, but scheduled breaks will be in the morning and afternoon, campers should bring snacks and a water bottle.
  • Registration: Payment is due at the time of registration. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited for each camp.
  • Cancellations: MAACM reserves the right to cancel any session that does not meet the minimum enrollment, in which a full refund will be given.
  • Refunds: Refunds will be made in full up to seven days prior to the camp starting date. No refund will be given after the seven-day period.
