Carlos Velasco

MAACM’s Glass Classes are taught by Master Craftsman Carlos Velasco, whose experience with artistic glass has deep family roots stretching back three generations. His grandfather Jose Velasco, born in Spain (1911), immigrated to Colombia where he established a thriving family glass business named Casa Velasco, where Carlos apprenticed at the age of 14. Carlos has worked on many important restorations of art pieces in private collections and public works of art, locally and internationally.
