Tuesday, March 14th

American Arts and Crafts Communities

Imagine and create your ideal community! Through hands-on learning and gallery exploration, workshop participants will discover American Arts and Crafts communities, including the Roycroft Campus and Brydcliffe Colony. Participants will then be challenged to create their own designs and models for an ideal American Arts and Crafts community.
Wednesday, March 15th
10 am – 12 pm
The Craftsman Home

Grab your Arts and Crafts hard hat! In this camp, participants explore Craftsman homes and the many different ways Craftsman homes were decorated with American Arts and Crafts furniture, pottery, and lighting. Become inspired by our collection to build and decorate you own dream Craftsman home.

Beauty in Common Things

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Explore the concept and influence of wabi-sabi on the American Arts and Crafts movement. Upcycle everyday house hold objects with LEGO® bricks to create new and beautiful common things.
Friday, March 17th
10 am – 12 pm
Arts and Crafts Animals

Explore the many different animals who call MAACM their home! Through furniture, pottery, tile, and lighting, American Arts and Crafts artists incorporated animals into Arts and Crafts objects. Design and create your own animal décor inspired by the American Arts and Crafts movement.
